If you dislike the actions of Labour's elected representatives so much, why are you still a member?
Many Labour Councillors are defecting to RESPECT, for example, Cllr. Wayne Muldoon in Loughborough recently issued this statement:
"Wayne Muldoon is a long-standing councillor in Loughborough. Last week he decided to resign from the Labour Party and join Respect. Wayne gives the reasons for his decision:
"In 1997 the British people voted for an end to Thatcherism. After 18 rotten years, under the Tories, our people were desperate for a Labour government. Tragically, they are still waiting for it.
One of Blairs first acts as Prime Minister was inviting Thatcher back to Number 10 and she has, metophorically, been there ever since. New Labour began by saying it was unrealistic to oppose inequality, now it praises it and invites it out to lunch!
The betrayals of decent, traditional labour values add up to a very long list.

The most dangerous and obscene change is the way our government has become little more than a corporate plaything and cypher for US foreign policy. This status quo can not be allowed to stand. It is the duty of each of us to bring an end to this war-mongering, privatising, opportunistic, cynical gang ruling over us."
I think we need a real Labour party in Wales, not these New Labour impostors or Plaid nationalists who are just as bad.
